1.5" UN-CODED

1.5" Un-coded lamps are for use in older instruments from: GBC Scientific, Varian, Analytic Jena, Shimadzu, Hitachi, Thermo Jarrel Ash, Unicam, and other makes except Perkin Elmer. They can be used with Perkin Elmer with optional adapter.  You can also use these lamps in newer instruments, but must enter the lamp energy, wavelength, slit, and other parameters manually.

1.5" CODED

1.5" Coded lamps are for use in newer instruments from: Varian (SpectrAA and newer) and GBC Scientific.

2" UN-CODED

2" Un-coded lamps are for use in older instruments from Perkin Elmer.  You can also use these lamps in newer Perkin Elmer instruments, but must enter the lamp energy, wavelength, slit, and other parameters manually.  This style lamp uses a cable with a 9 pin connector.

2" CODED

2" Coded lamps are for use in newer instruments from Perkin Elmer.  This style lamp uses a cable with a 12 pin connector.

2" AAnalyst CODED

2" AAnalyst Coded lamps are for use in AAnalyst instruments from Perkin Elmer.  This style lamp is cableless (4 pin).
