Cress door switch

The Cress furnace door switch cuts power to the elements when the door is opened.  This is an important safety feature to reduce risk of shock.  Includes 2 mounting nuts.

Adjust the mounting nuts of the switch, and the shims of the plate, to depress the plunger enough to close the circuit but not so far as to bottom the plunger.  This will damage the switch and shorten the life.

Some furnaces have a single door switch and some have two door switches.
