"Cookson" Gold & Silver – Free Coarse Powder, Pueblo Type Assay Litharge (PbO)

A Reddish  coarse powder assay litharge that is C.P. grade (chemically pure). This material is used for fire assaying processes for the quantitative determination of precious metals in an ore. It is the purest form of litharge, particularly low in silver and gold, and is milled to a uniform particle size for enhanced reactivity and consistency of reaction.
