3 Gallon Type "B" Pressure Filter – 8″ diameter
Unique cam action lifting mechanism raises barrel off of the base and swings out of the way. Includes safety pressure relief valve, bleed valve, filter paper and cloth. Steel construction. Originally designed by the US Bureau of Mines in the Salt Lake Research Facility to run small batch filter samples for the purpose of filter cake and filtrate analysis. Base grid and top gasket are formed from cast vinyl for long wear and virtually no maintenance.  Powder coated stainless steel drip pan, aluminum lid.

Complete with pressure gauge, safety relief valve, bleed valve, quick connect air coupling, filter cloth, pkg of 100 wet strength filter papers and lid gasket.

For 100% liquid recovery, the optional high-seal gasketed filter cloth should be used. This polyester cloth has a bonded vinyl perimeter and greatly reduces leakage.
