The disk pulverizer will accept a 1/4″ dry friable material and reduce it to a fine powder of 150-200 mesh at approximately 1 lb/minute (based on quartz). The 8″ grinding plates can be adjusted and locked into position to obtain the required particle size. Plates are offered in a variety of materials and hardness to suit the users grinding needs and budget requirements. The entire grinding chamber is accessible for easy cleaning and greater sample recovery.
Includes Motor Base, Belt Guards, and one set of standard iron alloy UA-51/52 grinding plates.
